Social Accounting & Auditing

Social Accounting is an evaluation framework used by social enterprises and voluntary sector organisations to measure and report on their social, economic and environmental performance. With the 2012 Public Services (Social Value) Act now in force, and an increased awareness on the need to measure social impact, Social Accounting and Auditing provides organisations with a framework and tools to do just that.

VINESWORKS can help organisations get started with their social accounting and auditing and provide customised training and customised support ranging from 1/2 day introductory courses, 2 day masterclasses, through to year long support programmes.

VINESWORKS is the South West Regional Co-ordinator for the Social Audit Network (SAN).

Helen is an accredited SAN social auditor and trainer, and has delivered social accounting and auditing programmes across the South West and South Wales since 2000.  She has recently presented about Social Accounting and Auditing to international audiences through British Council initiatives.   Click here for a summary of Helen's social accounting skills and experience.
